BIO-KG FOD took part in the Exchange of Best Practices-a seminar where members of the Civil Alliance “For Improving Nutrition and Food Security “SUN KYRGHYZSTAN” gathered.
The exchange of practices took place in the city of Toktogul, Jalal-Abad region on June 13-16, 2021.
An employee of the Federation demonstrated a presentation with new stages in the life of organic aimags, also spoke about the system of guaranteed participation of PGS, with the screening of a film on the stated topic.
The participants of the Exchange told about the advocacy work in promoting a particular project. In order for the performance to be the most memorable, the participating coaches were invited to conduct a conversation in an interactive way: role-playing, business game, simulation games, case method, collective solutions to creative problems, coaching, modeling of production processes and situations, watching and discussing a video with a discussion, a master class.
The most interesting part of the meeting was a trip to local farms.
So, in the village of Ak-Tektir, farmer Akmat Chalov showed his fish farm and greenhouse, telling in detail about the history of the formation of a profitable farm now. And the trainer-technologist for processing raw materials showed how to make two types of cheese and detergent from 10 liters of milk.
According to her, she works a lot with vulnerable communities, where she teaches to make products equal to 1800 som from 10 liters of milk (300-400 soms).
On the final day, the FOD communicator as a trainer described in detail to the participating farmers how to write their success story, the participants will provide the result at the GA forum ” For Improving Nutrition and food security “SUN KYRGHYZSTAN “” in the near future.
