FIELD DAY IN OA KOPURO-BAZAR: WE GROW EVERYTHING!

On August 21, the Federation of Organic Movement BIO-KG held a "field day" in organic aimag Kopuro-Bazar, Talas region.

 At the annual event of the Federation, where farmers of all aimags can exchange experience, farmers from OA Avtandil Baimatov, Aibek Dosubak uulu and others showed their plots.
 Farmers from Chui, Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions, as well as representatives of the PF “Bio-Service”, which certifies organic products abroad, the media, local government, akimiat and the regional administration of Talas region, took part in the “field day”. 
 This year, farmers from Kopuro-Bazar proudly demonstrated the harvest of medicinal herbs and berries, and farmer Baymatov told all the guests how he had grown an exotic variety of kohlrabi cabbage. Carrots, beets, potatoes, according to him, this season were born big and beautiful. Aibek Dosubak uulu said that the tractor with a milling cutter given to him by the FOD in the spring was very useful, the mobilizer even managed to operate the unit for several types of crops. 
 A field day is a large gathering of farmers and specialists to learn about best practices. In general, as local residents note, this high-mountain village of Talas has been experiencing real biodiversity for the past 10 years - if earlier there were two or three types of vegetables, today there in every vegetable garden you can see a "Chuy picture" - from strawberries, raspberries, sunflowers to apricots in the garden.
