On January 19 of this year in Bishkek a round table on “Green socio-economic development” was held. The event was attended by the Permanent Coordinator of the UN system in the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of UN agencies, stakeholders and the Director of the Federation of Organic Development “BIO-KG” Aidaraliv I.R.
The participants got acquainted with the United Nations Framework Program for Cooperation on Sustainable Development for 2023-2027 and made joint working plans for 2023-2024. The strategic priorities of the program are: equal access of population to quality social services, inclusive green socio-economic development and jointly combating possible risks and threats. In conclusion, participants endorsed the interim results and received clarifications on the way forward.
