The Forum was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Department of Organic Agriculture, KOICA, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and many others.
At the Forum participants expressed their views on the state of organic in Kyrgyzstan and noted that the development is stable and sustainable.
The objectives of the forum were a broad exchange of views of all parties involved in the sector of organic agriculture, the business community, government agencies, international development partners, to clarify the progress in the development of organic agriculture, identifying problems and finding solutions. Also one of the main objectives is to familiarize people of the country to eat right and lead a healthy lifestyle, to develop the production of organic products within the country and its export to the near and far abroad.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia expressed hope for further cooperation and strengthening in terms of economy.
Rahmanova Dinara, representative of FAO, warmly spoke about the work of Bio-KG FOD and praised our activities in organic aimags.
Our director, Iskenderbek Rysbekovich, thanked the participants of the Forum, our partners and colleagues for the fruitful work, endless support and congratulated all with the 10th anniversary of the Federation.
Also at the Forum not once speeches were made about increasing the quality of organic products in Kyrgyzstan and wishes of good work in the future.
