Developing organic agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic

THE BIO-KG COORDINATORS HELD A TRAINING ON BIODIVERSITY IN TALDY-BULAK

On December 10-11, in the Taldy-Bulak organic aymak in the Talas region, within the framework of the grant competition “Support of initiatives to respond to the consequences of COVID-19 by local communities protecting natural territories”, BIO-KG FOD employees held seminars on the following topics:        

– The importance and role of biodiversity conservation;

– Advantages of nature-saving and organic technologies in agriculture;

– A healthy environment is the key to sustainable immunity and the preservation of a healthy gene pool.

The trainers of the seminars were Sultan Sarygulov, Coordinator for the Development of traditional culture, and Mayrambek Boronbayev, Coordinator for Organic Agriculture.

The participants of the training were women of different age categories, the number of which exceeded 30.
