The Federation of the Organic Movement BIO-KG took part in a round table dedicated to cooperation with retail stores.
The event was organized with the support of the GIZ program “Green Economy and Sustainable Development of the Private Sector in Kyrgyzstan”.
Earlier, the program conducted a study “Supermarkets and high-value-added retail trade for fresh fruits, vegetables and meat in Kyrgyzstan”, as well as developed a practical guide for manufacturers to enter the retail network. The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the results of the study, to receive feedback on the practical guide, as well as to develop a mechanism for cooperation between agricultural producers and the retail chain.
The parties also took part in drawing up an initial plan of joint work for the coming months. So, one of the important points was the decision to build a logistics center and focus on increasing the volume of agricultural production (organic).
